Hey guys, I have a huge piece of Mopani wood in my tank and I've decided I want to take it out. Would taking it out ruin my cycle or put me in a mini-cycle? If so would it extremely affect my Senegal or Delhezi bichir?

Depends on if your tank is cycled already or not. If you're several months past being cycled, it should be no problem. But if you're in the middle of a cycle, the general rule of thumb is dont put anything in, dont take anything out.
Driftwood is generally good for most fish. Plus, it's a lot more visually pleasing to look at a tank more "natural" looking.
Sen and Del should be fine either way.
