Polypterus weeksii size and tank size

Hello what is the largest Polypterus weeksii anyone here has seen I have heard they can get about 16-21 inchs
is this true? would they be able to live in a 125 for life?

Probably not for life but they grow slow. 125 would work for a very long time

As frank has mentioned they are supper slow growing and 125g would last a while. Burbotman had a 23 incher. Need a wider tank to keep for life.
