polys and rays?

I had a 6" ornate bite a 6" motoro a few times. Needless to say they are separated. That was the only time I tried, and the last. But I cant speak for everyones experiences.

My bichirs would bite the rays disk even had one clamp on and go for a ride! A lot of people do it. I say try it if you have 24-48 hrs to monitor them close!

i have an adult ray (female is 2ft disc) and an 8inch senegal and didn't bother each other for a few years. Tried it also with a 2 2ft ornates and 1 x 16inch ornate and still a happy community. Have moved out the ornates now and senegal was sold.
 
I've seen a gruesome pic of a male ray bhead/eating off the head of a full grown ornate.
 
Therefore, the combo can work but lots of risk involved. Don't put ornates with rays and get some laid back rays and bichirs. any thing can happen.
 
um.. yea.. ive got a small ornate getting ready for the big tank.
