people use weather loaches as feeders for polys. They are like perfect for it haha

I don't understand how you misunderstood my post at all. for example I know King-el feeds his polys weather loaches.

and plus... aren't weather loaches cold water fish?

well of course it won't eat what it can't fit in your mouth.

but where are you going to find a 8 inch weather loach?

plus they thrive as a colder water species. they can be kept in warmer water (loach. com says 77 highest) but I doubt that is optimal. Polys are not a cold water fish, especially if you want them to grow fast
