Been digging my pond out for a couple days now. Its 6 ft round and has spots ranging from 8 inches deep to 2.5 ft deep. I also dug out a hole that's 2 ft x 2 ft x 1.5 ft deep today I was planning on using for a filter spot. The plan was to have a pond pump running watedr up to the filteration area where rocks and plants will be and have it fall back over into the pond as a waterfall. Also having a overflow in the pond to run unneeded water to where I want it. For water changes I figure ill let mother nature take care of it by putting a pc of gutter on my building which the pond is less than 10 ft from and have the rain water run into the filter and into the pond. Let me know what u think and how I may improve my filter. Wanting to keep it natural looking and hoping to just filtert with plants anf roccks
