Bracing done. Liner will go in this week some time. If anyone sees any places of worry, let me know please. Currently debating on filtration. Going to run at least 2 filters. A 900gph bucket filter and a bio fountain filter. Will probably end up putting another in it when bio load increases. But for now, will only house an 18" rtc and a 24" rtc tsn hybrid.

Thanks guys. I got lucky with the husband lol. He tolerates and sometimes encourages my crazy ideas with fish. And having teenagers that also keep fish, well this was bound to happen. Liner is going in today. So I'll update. Filtration is going to be fun. Going to run 2 or 3 filters, so even if one goes down, it won't be without. I'll also probably put pothos or something to help with nitrates in between water changes. This opens up so many more possibilities.....?

What do the teens think of having a big and “awesome” catfish in the house? Excited?

Lol, evidently, us doing this is "legendary". Some of their friends have the smaller intex pools, but nothing like this. The one kid down the street has a large koi pond. But koi are too fluffy and cute for me lol.

Liner is in. What a pain in the ***. It's humid and hot. Even in the shade. But it's done. So, gotta start filling. I'm not that worried about the fish getting stuck in the folds. They're huge fish. Should be ok, right?

There won't be folds....the weight of the water will mold the rubber to the shape of the box. It looks great! I would suggest having a de-humidifier in the room. I destroyed our wooden door and windows before I put one in. Have it be one that can drain constantly or you will be emptying the dehumidifier every other day.May I ask what filters are you using?
