Pond cleaning today

Water is definitely warming up. More algae is being caught in the filter.

One filter is the typical cartiridge element. The other is my design. Mine would catch 10x more.

Is that a customers pond or your own personal pond?

I have a debris net in my skimmer that has fairly larger holes in it like the mesh one u built. It works better the dirtier it gets and traps really fine particles of algae. Replacement nets are about 40 bucks, so when it comes time for a new one I think i will use the mesh and make a semi-rigid unit. Seems to work just fine....

My water is now at least staying ice free LOL I still have a week or two before I get to clean things up
