Pond filter for green water

It there such a thing?

I was reading somewhere that doing water changes is pointless as the algae water will return almost as fast as the water change.

I don't mind the greenish color but it's gotten so thick in the last week I can hardly see the bottom(2 feet).

I also read somewhere it is good for Goldfish and Koi. I don't see how... maybe safer from birds or animals that may go after them.

expensive and they do not work very well either, the green water seems to aid in the breeding process, during the hot months here i change my water more often also use a product called tlc. will not make it real clear but helps. short of putting a tent over it to block the sun i do not know what to tell you.

how do they not work very well? our pond was pea green, about 7 days after adding the UV its been crystal clear and its been that way for years. if you set it up correctly, after the filter, it will clear up your green water in no time.

UV lights work great for green water
