depends on the pond filter if i were you the best way to make it cheaper is buy a cheap tank and make a sump for your 360 gallon, you get alot better filtration when you have a sump.

Most pond filters cost more than aquarium filters mainly because of it's size and pressure rating. I run a closed system with bio-bead and a 3000gph pump on my 225g cichla tank. All piping is 1 1/2" PVC. Not cheap but great for my application.

Try the Ocean Clear 380 with the UV. I have a Turbo Sea pump running mine as an extra to my sump. It is great way to go. The filter itself goes for about 225 or so online. good luck.
