Yep, most pond filters you can use on a tank but you have to bare in mind stocking and conditions are different in a pond so you ned to choice one thats rated atleast 5 times higher than your tanks so it can handle the flowrate you would want to be using which in my tanks is around 5x an hour turnover.
It's usually a good idea to change the media around aswell, media that comes with the filters are usually very course and the biological media is usually pretty bulky rather than having lots of smaller media stuffed in.
Also be aware that pond UV's are useless against parasites in tanks, they can only tank out algae as the void is different from an aquairum UV.
