Hey all, I was wondering what brand / types of pumps everyone is using for their ponds. I am currently using the Oase brand among others and was wondering if there is a better quality product on the market. I have ponds ranging from ~100 gal to 350+ gal some with up to three waterfalls. Any comments are helpful :)

I am using the Little Giant OPWG-29 Out of Pond Pump. Man this is a beast. It powerful and runs only 92watts. It says it run 37gal per minute on Little Giant manual. Amazon says 1740 gal per hour. But the math is wrong. The other pumps will use more $$$watts to run it. The only thing bad about it is the price. If you want to save $$$money on your bill this is the pump. My little pump are Alpine 20wat pump that pumps 400gal. per hour. I use it for my 4 fish tank hook up to one 1 pump and 1 filter setup.

I prefer Sequence pumps and I think they make an excellent product. With that pump coupled with a Baldor motor you have a nearly bulletproof setup. These are usually for larger ponds and flow rates, however.
