hi mfkers, i need some advice about pond filtration. i have been researching online and found that many pond keepers use sand filters as their mechanical filtration. however i heard that using sand filters are not that a great idea because they are mainly used for filtrating pools and not ponds. any thoughts?
n.b i already have a 500l biological filtration. i am only looking for a mechanical filtration. my options are sand filter or canister.
