I live in the US in zone 7. (Mississippi) I am considering buying an Arowana to grow in the late spring and summer in my Koi pond.

Any opinions or advice from anyone? I would not at all want to try this with out being knowledgeable of what to maybe expect and how I should treat it.

I've had great success with other tropical fish like plecos. I know they're not the same fish however.

Thanks in advance all

Add lotus, iris and other emergent plants, these attract insects such as dragonflies and mayflies and gives your aro something to hunt, it's also a good idea to add floating plants, this helps your aro feel comfortable in the pond and not jump out.

Yes I grow many lily pads in there as well. I think I'll give it a shot in the warm months and bring it in in the cold months in an indoor pond. With a bird net over it
