Setting up a 300 gallon rubbermaid stock mtank pond.Want to be able to heat it year round to keep koi, local species fish and a large pleco. How should i go about heating it to be able to keep it going year round.

I think you really have to pull your fish and house them indoors. If you figure out another way let me know!

I have kept fish in 300gal rubbermaid in WI, but always had to bring them in for the winter.
Without a heater my rubbermaid froze solid into 1 big round cube, I doubt that with any normal hater there'd be enough thawed space and oxygen for fish to survive.
Even my 1000 galinground pond would freeze solid 2-3 ft down during Jan and feb
I find its just easier to set up a 400gal kiddy pool for them in the basement.
