Pond in direct sun light

Hi my pond is in direct sun light i have a uv light but my water still green any advice

How long has it been set up? Might take a while to reach its balance. You could put in some water-lillies to cut down the sunlight.

I have had it for years each summer it goes green, I can't put plants in coz it is a koi pond.

Most likely your UV light is either too small for the pond or the bulb needs replacing.

Use algeafix or bentonite clay. Most likely bentonite clay will. Lean.it up. Algeafix will stop the algea grow.
