Pond/lake/ moss??

theres a park near my home in cerrios california (some cali people might know it)
name heritage park..

anywyas its a really really big pond lake i see alot of tad poles there this weeked and of course alot of ducks!
and to my suprise the water was pretty clear then wat it useually is and i seen about 6 monster koi 14 + inchs and i seen some nice moss algae not sure what exactly but i think some type of moss and the bottom and some nice greenish ones that look pretty decent better then some i see on aqua bid question is is it aquariaum safe? is it recomended what would i have to do to prep it pryed to adding to my cafrican tank if i do use it???

Seems really risky to add anything from the wild into a tank. You could try to QT it for a coupleof weeks, if collecting is OK.

That's what I would do. Throw a couple cheap fish in there and see if they live....
