pond lighting

my pond is indoors with a lot of windows around, it but not much direct light sun comes through...should lights be closer to pond or just at celling hight.....not sure if i will have many plants in the pond but mostly around it...

I'd go with celling height my self, just a word of caution, if you have some direct sunlight it can trigger algae blooms

If the lights are too low they will obstruct your view. Hanging them from the ceiling a bit above eye level would be best I think.
