Pond liner reef safe adhesive

Hi,
New to this site, but I have read quite a few of the DIY threads here, good stuff.

I want to build a 30 x 30 x 24" deep reef tank and I was toying with the idea of using pond liner, but I am not sure what to seal it with. I have read that 3m 4200 is good, but is it reef safe? What about silicone, will it stick to the pond liner? Any incite is greatly appreciated.

Dow Corning 927 silicone is what my friend uses on his 2600 gallon plywood tanks. They are lined with pond liners and he uses the 927 between the liner and the viewing glass.

Did he have any seams to glue, or was it just one big piece with the front cut out?

if your not planning on any windows or anything and just viewing from the top you won't need any adhesives. just fold the liner to fit the corners and such and just bend over the top lip. the water pressure will more than hold it in place.

If you're using a liner, you get a piece to fit and fold into the corners. You don't cut pieces to fit.

i cut the pieces to fit then seal the corners, i like the cleaner look, but in a tank like that its not even noticable.
