i was just wondering if a normal pond liner wuld hold up to the strain of salt water

yay another one without any answers did i ask a dumb ? that nobody wants to answer cause im being seriouse i want to do a plywood build and a pond liner is the only sure bet to keep it from leaking

I use a 30 mil blue pvs liner for my ray pond, its just 4 months old now so i will see how it holds up. They guarentee for 1 year but being inside out of the sun and with no sharp objects in my pond i hope for many year of service. The black liners can be up to 45 mill which is really heavy material and will last for years with the proper care.:)
