Can pond liners be used in plywood aquariums?

I don't see why not. In my pond where I have my bulkheads I went through the pond liner and plywood. No leaks.

Im planning a large build 1000 gallons and just trying to do my home work. Not a big fan of these role on product s i want something that will stand up for a long time.

Yeah I see your point. Thats why I went pond. The liner is 10x more trustworthy when I'm not home lol. You could always do a pond!

I remember there was a thread on here a while back where someone did a plywood aquarium with a liner and viewing window.. I'll see if I can find it.
