pond or tank ?

Alright guys,

Im in a tricky situation,
Do I have a 6' x 6' x 3' (might go bigger)
or a 6' x 2' x 2' tank,

Stock for the tank;
1 x clarius catfish
1 x marble goby
1 x pleco
about 5 x 8"-15" cichlids.

OR

give a cupple large unwanted fish a new home in a pond, better then being stuck in a tank.

What do you guys think , im stuck to choose what to do, i carnt really have both as dont have enough room.

i would say pond but matters how many gallons you are doing too

I havent worked it out yet but im thinking if i did do pond a 6 x 6 x 3 or 8 x 4 x 3 , im stuck between these or a nice tank ??

I would do pond. You will enjoy the big fish as they have personalities. As well as doing a good thing giving the unwanted ones homes.

i prefer tanks over ponds, to me its alot easier to enjoy your fish that way.

Tanks are nice but if you are looking for a large quantity of water without spending your lifes savings, pond is the way to go. Not all of us can be like arapaimag unfortunately.
