i have a small pond in memphis thats only a few hundered gallons and i have a channel cat and a pleco both are about 8 inches. the pond is 18" deep with a few places with a 9 inch shelf. i have a submerged filter that returns water through a fountain which keeps the surface water well stirred. the pond is approx. 6'X8'. i was going to bring these fish in for the winter and dig the pond much bigger (6'Wx10'Lx4'D) but budget doesnt allow (school, baby, etc) and i have also redone the 29g into african cichlids. can these two survive the mild winters we've had in the midsouth.
