Hi guys i have a 75G planted with a bunch of livebearers and want babies. I want to put floating plants galore, is it advisable to put pond plants into an aquarium? i was thinkig a lily pad or 2, and some sort of mossy thing.

Its ok, but make sure to treat the plants because you don't want to introduce pathogens or some parasites etc to your tank. The same applies for aquariums as it does outdoors, the plants need their needs met in order to grow.
If i put like lillies or something on top would that be ok, or would it be too dark for other plants?
It will probably block out light for plants underneath, unless you do not entirely cover the top. Still though, theres very few aquatic plants that can grow in partial light/shade.
