is it better to use a liner or one of those hard plastic ponds ?

liner for sure. gives you more flexibility in design. you can build what you want and dont have to stick with a standard shape. and you can make it look more natural

I second the liner...

much more flexible in many ways.

It really depends on what your wanting to end up with. Hardsides have their place.

I have both and prefer liner, but is more costly depending on what your needs and capabilities are...for sure pros & cons to both....personal prefrence has a lot to do with it also

as doc said, depends on what ya wanna do.

I was going to do a liner but came across 2 250g preformed ponds for cheap.

Thats about the size I want. Is it cheaper to go liner or preformed?
