I have a 150 stock tank pond. 6 goldfish. 1 pleco 3 danios <was 5 but the rain overflowed it> I have a 400 gallon per hour pump and filter with fountain. Bioballs, Sponge and Filter element. No gravel. I could do a 100% water change as long as I leave the water and bio balls alone and not start the nitrogen cycle over again correct?

Yes if you keep the filter running with some of the pond water and aerated you should be good for an hour or so.

Treat the replacement water for chlorine/chlorimines before re-starting the filter (and the water needs to be above 70*F or match the filter water temp)

Curious... Why do you want to do a 100% W/C?

One pond was treated with medicine and everyone is better. The second pond the one with the goldfish is cloudy and green. Ive been doing partials on it but I also want to move it.

Can you run the filter on the other pond to keep it alive since it sounds like it's going to be down awhile? (you can do a quick rinse with the other pond water if your worried about meds transferring to the other pond).

If it's in the budget, a UV is a nice addition(even make it transferable between ponds).

Got any pix for the viewers at home? :D

Where abouts in S.Fla? (generally speaking)

Both are stock tank ponds. I plan on doing musical chairs with the ponds. I have 50 gall preformed I use for quarentine. I want to drain water from pond #1 into this and place fish and filter. Clean said pond and move it. Treat water let temps aclimate and then add fish from Pond #2 and filter from Pond #2. Clean Pond #2 treat pond #2 and then add fish from Pond #1 into this.

Pond #1 is 3 feeders that I used to cycle all ponds. 5 shubunkins 3 of which I used to cycle my wifes 75 gallon inside community tank.

Pond #2 is 1 Albino Oscar and 2 pacus. both about 4#. I plan on taking them into the 150.

Pond #3 will come after summer early winter and will either be a 350 oval shaped stock tank or a lumber built pond up underneath the patio.

as for pictures I have to finish "PRETTYING" up the stock tanks first. I bought Bamboo screaning from target. 5 feet tall 13 feet wide that I plan to cut to size. Screw in small screws on the outter lip of the stock tanks and attatch the bamboo so it doesnt look like I am quoting my wife here "Beverly Hillbillies bathtubs" Once im done with that I will snap some pictures.

Not done prettying up yet? Stop letting your life from interfering with our vicarious thrills.:popcorn:

okay how about this. Once I get the ponds moved and cleaned I will take pictures for a before and after and during the "PRETTYING UP" process...
