Well, pond season is finally on it's way and I'm haveing trouble trying to figure out what to stock it with this year. Once way back when it was stocked we had some gold fish in there, one managed to survive from being turtle food when it was little. I also had my painred turtle in there at the time. Then last year we finally put some fish in there, just some cheap feeder/wild-type guppies. Now, I what to stock it this year but I can't choose what to put in it. I was thinking maybe some kind of a topminnow and just let them breed in there. My Mom likes goldfish and I think sarasa comets are kind of cool so maybe those in stead. Then, I got the weirdest idea ever. I thought, why not get some of those new galaxy/firercracker rasboras Celestichthys margaritatus, let them do their thing, and sell them off in fall. I might put my two baby painted turtles in there too but if I get the rasboras I won't be cause I don't want to loose all of them to the turtles. What do you guys think about this? Would the rasboras be able to survive in there? Are there any other fish that I could sell the fry in fall and make some money off of? Thank you for you time and help.
