I have always really liked pacu for some reason, and have always wanted one. But of course my 10, 20 and 75 gallons will not hold one. My husband and I are going to be putting in a pond and if posable I would love to included a pacu in my pond.

What is the minimum size pond gallon wise That would be suitable for a pacu at full size? I am not looking to just put it in the minimum sized pond, just want to know what the minimum is so I can see if it is even posable for us to build :)

I don't know a whole lot about the care of pacu but I went to the aquarium last week and they had one the size of a tire. And considering they are schooling fish they deffinately would need one hell of a pond. I'm actually interested in seeing what people say.

I'm just taking an educated guess here. Considering pacu can get up to 3 feet long, 3 feet tall, and pretty wide, and that they are schooling fish i'd say at least 1200 gallons per fish. This is just a guess though and by no means accurate.
