Hi, I finally got ahold of 6 multies for my 20 gallon long. Unfortunately I also have some pond snails that are in the aquarium as well. I don't particularly want to get rid of them because I feel that they enhance the 'ecosystem' of the tank. What I'm worried about though is if the snails will eat the eggs from the fish or if the parents will know to protect their clutch and prevent the snails from getting in. I know that MTS never bother multis in this way but will pond snails? I really want to see the fish become a colony and raise successive generations in the tank. Will I have to get rid of the pond snails? Please let me know asap. Thanks in advance!

If anything, I'd think that the multis will eat the snails. I occasionally get rid of snails from my planted tank by putting them in my mbuna tank.
