Pond stock list?

The pond is going to be 12'x10'x5'. I have an idea but I dont know if it'll work. I was thinking koi, longear sunfish, yellow perch, yellow bullhead and some kind of predator like chain pickerel or longnose gar. What do you guys think?

ponds always seem to work better if the koi are not kept with other fish and vice-versa

There would only be 3 or 4 koi in the pond. So what do you think about the gar? Or instead of the chain pickerel, could I have red-fin or grass pickerel?

You could try all those.... you may or may not lose some of them. I have kept a bass and bowfin together and bowfin and grass pickerel together its really jsut hit or miss. In that big of a pond its more likely that you could keep them together

If it makes any difference, there will be a shallow plant filled pond about 7'x4'x1' on the side of the big one. I'll see if I can put up a sketch of the pond.
