This year we did not experience high temps. Was a rather mild Summer. Now it's Oct and water temp is cooling down. These lower temps make it very easy to maintain the water quality and filter. So grateful for everything around me.

i am struggling to keep my pond water clean . any advice
Do you understand the difference between clean and clear? Balance is the key. Fish load, filtration and the hardiest is nitrate control.

obviously i know that. the water is clean no nitrates nitrites, etc. all fishes are healthy and eating. it is a 1700 gallon pond. one rtc, a pacu, two id sharks

You're struggling to keep your pond water clean but the water is clean?

If you got algae then you got nitrate. You can add a UV to get rid of the blur or reduce nitrate.
where i live there is always sunlight in day. my pond receives direct sunlight
