Pond UV sterilizer for an Aquarium?

I was wondering if it would be okay to use a Koi pond UV sterilizer for an Aquarium instead? If not, i'll just go buy another one specifically for aquariums. But first i would like to know what you MFK's use... like Brand, watts, how strong of a pump should be used, and what are your reviews with the brand that you use. Please share your comments!

The use is the same, the only difference you might run into, is higher watts on the pond for bigger volume, different connections, for larger tubing, and lower price.

I use a turbo twist pond UV on my 270. It does the trick. I have a sequence750 4200 on my tank but between the head and friction from the 1" tubing I dont have a clue what its pumping.

I'm using a Total-Pond 1200UV on my tank - so far so good. Works well with Koi
