Currently building a small pond for my rays. will raus jump put of pond? i noticed mine like to climb up the tank walls.
planning to have my pond water level 6 inches away from the top of the wall. will this be enough to stop them from climbing out?

I would add a return edge on the top if possible, you never know. They can glide up the sides a quite a pace

I've been keeping rays in ponds for about 12 years. In my experience they can "lunge" out, especially the large, powerful rays. I recommend either keeping the surface of the water below the top of the wall by an amount equal to or greater than half the disk of the largest ray, or by adding a "lip" on the top, or by covering the pond with some type of netting.

thanks guys :) I'll try to add a piece of acrilic as lip :)
how big should the lip be? half an inch will do or maybe 1 inch?
