Pond with natives.

hey im buying a soft skin pool, i mean its ruberized u know like the above ground pools u get. And im thinking of putting like a tiger muskie in there.
Or fill it with lmb and some bluegills. What do you guys think?
W the tiger id add like 2 or 3 rainbows.

Will the tiger pop the pond?

I doubt a large esox would pop a pond but first you might want to check into your states prohibited fishes list. Most Western states have banned possession of esox. If you should find that esox are legal, you should consider grass or redfin pickerel.

Lets start there and see what you discover. Lots of neat things about pickerel to be discussed. Perhaps we can find something else for you if you can't keep them.

hmm i was thinking either thinking of doing the nothern pike, or tiger, or the other option was doing something w lmb and then bluegills. I plan to fish out of the pond so would the lmb breed? i would probalby only eat the bluegills and then release the lmb.

How big is this pool? I doubt the fish will spawn unless it is setup correctly and is large enough.
