I'm planning to have a pond. size would be about 15x8x5 (LxWxH)
Planning to have it 2 feet under ground, and 3 feet above the ground.
can i have a viewing panel on the 8 feet part of the wall?
maybe 2 4x2 1/2 inch Tempered glass>?
will this be able to take the pressure from the pond?

would really appreciate tips/advise.

the thickness of glass depends on depth at the bottom of glass window. If you have 3 feet above ground, if your glass starts almost from top and goes two feet down then the bottom most point of your glass will see 2 feet water pressure. A 1/2 inch tempered should be fine in this case. If the bottom of the glass is at 3 feet down from top, then 1/2 inch thickness is not good enough according to the commonly use safety factor. When I built my outdoor raised tank with viewing glass the advice I got was that 1/2" glass is okay up to 2 feet water depth.
