I have a 1750 gallon pond, I have to put in salt to cure something on my fish, I have some aquarium salt and will also be using some regular salt, like table salt, I'll be doing half the normal dosage and will it kill my plants? Could I add some brackish or saltwater fish to the pond, I know you can keep fish such as snooks in freshwater also. Mostly I want some coldwater cod, can I? this is an established pond and has a liner and filter

Excessive salt can kill most plants, yes. There are a few that are tolerant of some salt - Java ferns most notably - but most other plants won't take it.

If you're making a brackish pond, use marine salt ONLY. 'Aquarium salt' is no good in a brackish tank since high concentrations of that salt can kill fish at brackish levels (speaking from mistakes and experience), and table salt is normally iodized and is also not so good for fish and filters.

Rather just finish your treatment and return the pond to freshwater conditions.
