I recently found out that swimming pool supply stores sell chlorine neutralizers. Apparently they are intended to be used if you over-chlorinate your pool and need to reduce it. Anyone have any experience with this stuff in aquarium use? They sell it in bulk and it seems like it could be a money saver for those of us who do large water changes.
Same, you don't know what other chemical they put in there? Perharps something that can effectively remoe chlorine but is toxic to fishes? I say don't risk it

Go on ebay Sodium Thiosulfate you can buy in bulk comes in a powder just add water same stuff used by everyone that sells dechlorinator with some adding other ingredients such as aloe. I change about 2,000 gallons of water a month and it saves quite a bit.
I believe it's Hydrogen Peroxide based stuff. We had a Chlorine Lock in my pool over the summer because the sister in laws boyfriend dumped 10 bags of Powder Chlorine into the system (Only supposed to use 1 per wk.) and when I went to the Pool place the guy was going to sell me a 1 gallon jug of Chlorine Neutralizer. But another guy I always dealt with came out and told me to just go buy 2 BIG bottles of Peroxide and dump them in their.
But for Fish Tanks. Prime all the time, every time.
