I have a half bag of pool fiter sand for sale roughly 25lb because i only used half of it. Is safe for using as a substrate in a fish tank. Make sure you rinse off residual dust only takes 10 mins. Easier to clean then flourite and other substrate. $5 pick up only..im in lakewood, ca

no it wont..not enough. i say roughly u need 1.5-2lb per gal. If you wanna use pool fiter sand as substrate just goto any pool supply store. They cost roughly $10-$15 per 50lbs. So get 4 bags and still have xtra. Pool filter sand very easy to clean. Easier then any substrate i know.
