Pool filter sand

Who has pool filter sand as substrate? Do u like it? How is it with wc? I have play sand, think im going to make the switch

I use PFS in most of my tanks, and have for years. It is much heavier than play sand, so it doesn't get stirred up as easily (getting into and ruining equipment), and won't as easily get sucked up while vacuuming the substrate. I tried play sand years ago, would never use it again.

They should have it at pool stores you can also try Lowes and Home Depot.

all the pool stores should have it in stock now that summer is at peak.i use PFS in 2 tanks,i like it,slightly larger and heavier grain size

Yeah I love pfs it cleans very easily so its not cloudy in the tank and just awesome stuff very cheap.too.hope you find some
