Pool filtration sand with Stingrays?

Just a quick question is pool filtration sand too rough for rays?

Alright thank you sir! What type of ray is that? And love the bichirs too. Hope my get that big some day

Reticulata. The bichirs aren't really that big, those pups were only a couple hours old and maybe 2.5" when I snapped that pic.

Pool filter sand....




A simple quick search would have revealed dozens of posts that show how many people use this sand for rays...it is almost the go to sand for rays.
