Pool for Pacu??

I am out of options. No one will take the Pacu off me (I didn't buy them, they came with a tank and no one told me until we went to get the tank, and I wasn't about to leave them in a barrel) and I cannot afford the cost of most pond liners. However, I found this pool (http://www.brandsonsale.com/hg-000170.html - the 8 foot x 30 inch one) on ebay for like £60-£70, which I can easily afford when I get paid, and can put it inside, and their existing filters and heaters with a bit of DIY into it. Ideas? Thoughts? Is this a good idea or am I just nuts lol. I don't know what else to do with them, they have outgrown the biggest tank I can put in the house, and have started fighting for space. No zoos, shops, or aquariums will have them. There are 3 pacu by the way.

Ya not a bad idea, my kids had a pool similar to that a few years back and it was actually quite durable. Are you planning to put it in your house? Make sure you keep your heating source away from the liner, it could burn a hole in it.

Yeah, toying with the idea of a heated sump. Probably around 2-3 foot glass tank at the side, and have the filters and heater run out of it. At the moment the heater is in a PVC pipe to keep them from bashing it (its also stainless steel, lol) so may do something like that and have it in the middle suspended or something. It will have to go in the house due to stray cats, large birds (we are on the coast), stupid people throwing things over our back wall, our pathetically tiny yard, and horrid UK weather.

Hats off to you anyway...Last big Pacu I heard of here in my parts, that the owner had no more space to accomodate it, got grilled and eaten by the owner and some friends on a saturday....
