pool/indoor pond

k...monster is in a new temp pool. please don't bash it. he seems to like it in there. i'm gonna be adding his gravel and stuff. it's about 5' diamiter so he has a lot more room now. i've had him for 1 year now and he has grown from 8" to just over 2'. he eats jumbo shrimp, pellet food and algea wafers. sometimes he gets live fish or frozen fish. he's eaten everything that's gone into his tank to live other than a 9" pleco.

this one is withought the flash so it's more the colors we see.

i'll try to put some more tomorrow after we are done his gravel and stuff. hope he likes it in there. seems pretty sturdy. got it at zellers for $40ish.

Anyone like it? i need to add more filtration soon. he seems to be happy. hasn't eaten yet but he is hunting around so i think he'll be fine

very cool, i did same thing a cpl years ago, i got one of the bigger pools from wallmart and put it in my garage, hooked up a filter and heater and i had a pond, i had all my big tsn, rtc, rtcxtsn and more. i like how u put the plants in yours very cool, and wow ur lung is getten big. very cool setup

Thanks dude. Right now it just has the filter from the tank he was in. we are adding another one the same when i get my next pay check. there are 2 heaters for 50g tanks stuck onto the side of the crate that is in there. there are also 2 snails living in the crate. lol... they like it in there. the plants are water sprite. i bought 3 little peices of it in march and it took over my 30g so i decided to give it to him. i'm interested to see how it will grow in there. there is florescent lighting and a window near by so they should keep growing like mad.

no. his tank has never had a lid on it and he's never tried jumping out before.

also we are planning to build a cover. well, we are going to build something around the pool and that will have a cover.

But seriously, nice looking lung. Hopefully mine gets that big. Looks really healthy and happy.
