Poop Diagnosis..

hey guys.. this is about my 24" silver aro and 12" rtc.. they share the same tank.. the filtration went to pits and there was green and brown algae.. i kept changing water but the brown algae kept sprouting.. and i noticed their appetites jus went for a toss.. its almost 2 weeks now.. no food.. its been about 4 days now.. i actually put them in a temp tank and cleaned out the entire tank and added a canister filter and put them back in.. they seem to be ok.. healthy moving around.. my aro does have a few bruises from moving around.. but the biggest thing is..though they dont eat i find this sorta poop at the bottom.. its brown followed by a trail of yellow.. what could be the problem? sorry i dont have water parameters.. i actually fed my aro crickets today.. she went for it and after an hour or two all the crickets were lying at the bottom covered in some yellow goo..

The brown algae are brown diatoms, having to do with soluble solids in your water. I have the same problem with my well water. It is a PITA!!

Sounds like your fish were stressed out which makes them more susceptible to IPs. I would treat for IPs just to be on the safe side.
