poor clown knives

i just got back from my lfs and the clown knives they had really bad fin rot and ich. one couldnt even swin straight and kept getting pushed under by the filter. i thought about getting one and trying to cure it but i didnt think it wuld work.
but yet all the other fish looked really healthy

hmm, that dosnt sound good, a young knife can be hard to treat as they are so fragile.

I'd say something to your store owner first. They might have come in like that. I wouldn't try to treat them as they are fragile when young. I'd just wait for a while and see what happens.

I actually bought mine in terrible condition. My girlfriend and I struggled to get him to eat, he turned down all worms and was too weak to catch fish. We finally got him to eat fully grown artemia... and that is what we raised him up with, now he loves his feeders and carnivore pellets and recently those massivore delite by hikari.
