Unbelievable. Little GT became such a bit*h. Must be on the rag or something. :irked: Although she doesn't mess with the silver or pleco. Go figure. :D

At least she's living up to her namesake.

She did such a good job that the 8" jar doesn't even swim to the other side of the tank that she's always cruising at.

damn i thought it would be the other way around...

It will :D

Whats even funnier..the GT is only about 3.5" or so. :WHOA:

BTW what is wrong with your 8" jar's eye?

This is a jar that I acquired from a knucklehead that didn't take care of it. Back in 11/2006, which is what re-ignited my fishkeeping. Haven't kept fishes for over 15 years, and when I saw that lil jar it just pee'd me off and I took it off of this person.

Needless to say, it was in bad shape, so I took my time and nursed it back for about 2 months. He has a slight angle when he swims, his right eye never healed up properly..so he's partially blind in that eye. But aside from that he's come a long away from 3.5" in f***ed condition to a 8" piggy.

Your fish will get better, get rid of the menace GT, also you have the best Avatar!

Same thing happened to me. One day my 4" GT decided to start harrassing my 6" Jar. It got pretty bad so I got rid of the GT. Not to make it a financial thing, but I wasn't about to allow an $8 GT kill my $40 Jar. Besides I like the Jar a whole lot better. It was an experiment that failed..........

Same thing happend to my work mates Jar, he had a 9" jar and bought two 2.5" GTs and they ganged up on the jar something shocking. A few years down the track (this is when I met him) his 8x3x2.5 was owned but 3 fish, no others could be added. The jar now around 20" controlled around 4ft of the tank and the two Gts which were a breeding pair (M=9", F=7") owned a 3ft section with a 1ft 'ope water' area.
I'd seen his fish a few times and he always told me he planned to get a 75 for the GTs but never did. One day my mate came to work said he said he found one of his fish dead. I instantly thought the GTs had some how killed the Jar. Then he muttered, well I found half a fish and I have no idea what happend to the female.

Jar 1, GTs dead

I am quite surprised at how long the Gts lasted, nothing looks as cool as seeing a 7" and 9" Gt fight off a 20" jar which is trying to still thier fry, and actually manage to chase it away.
