Poor Pleco

So my mom gets a call that some lady would like to give her common pleco up cause all it does is poop. I'm like sure but I really don't have room but free is awesome and I took it. But this poor thing was in a bowl (http://www.fishtankpet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/fishtankpet_goldfishbowl.jpg) Overall I was pretty mad and to top it off it was in the bowl for a month like that and was feed flake food and turtle food. The pleco was about 3.5in and look ok but since I have had him he has eat like a pig and look much beeter in color.

did the eyes and stomach seem sunken in?

Any pictures of it? glad to hear u saved it. .. and that lady sucks... .. thats no way to treat a Pleco...

nice.. then i would just continue to feed it veggie and the algae wafer...
Commons are still nice plecos and should be cared for like any other exotics.

i hope you get some pics up, pleco in bowl lol, definitely not a good setup
