Poor ropefish, 1st dead of '09

Found my ropefish dead today in the tank.:(

I waited two months for the LFS to get this fish in, had it a week and now it's dead.:irked: It was swimming around weird last night, but it was eating so I wasn't worried. The other fish in the tank (3 spotted perch, brown knife, and a butterfly fish) are fine.

The only thing I could see on the body was a little redness on it's bum.

ur other fish took advantage of him whne he was sleeping. u dont have a fish tank u have a jail cell!
 
What??? Please explain your "jail cell" theory!

He was in a 75 gallon tank with fish that are compatible/peaceful! If anything, he would be the fish to "take advantage" or pick on tankmates while they were sleeping!

haha yes that appeared to be a joke waaaay over your head. rope fish are neat though. get another.
