I dosed the tank with some Aquarium Salt and some PimaFix. I was thinking it looked like a fungal infection. After doing some research on bulging eye it was suggested to give the fish an Epsom Salt dip. I have done two of those so far. I come asking for help because he is not getting any better and is growing more listless.

16. Insert photos of fish in question and full tank shot if necessary.

Photo of fish below. Sorry its not the best, he doesn't want to come out of his hole.

Well, I checked on him in his hospital tank 30 minutes ago. Same as he has been for last three days. 10 minutes later I checked in on him again and he was belly up on the bottom breathing really shallow. I scooped him into my hand and sent water his way from underwater to try to move water over his gills. He just laid there and I watched him breathe his last breaths in my hand in the water.

5 years old.

I sure wish someone could have helped me...:(

Pictures included just because I'm sad...
