Two of my fish have pop eye, my alligator gar and my delhezi bichir. Each only have it in one eye, I suspect it's because of ammonia but I still need to test the water. Anyways, my plan was to do a 50% water change and move the two to quarantine tanks and try treating them with Epsom salts to draw the fluid out, then testing the water in the normal tank and once I know what's wrong with the water I can treat it. Is this a good plan? Any other advice or tips?
Thanks in advance, I've never had this happen before and I'm very concerned.
