Best way to treat pop eye. My oscar has the beginning stages of pop eye. Hopefully I have caught it early enough. Any suggestions?

Try some maracyn2 and Epsom salt, 1-3 tbsp per 5g. Keep nitrates below 20ppm. Best of luck.

What’s the Oscar housed with? It’s also important to find the reason causing the popeye. I lost a rare catfish once due to popeye because I didn’t recognize that the thing causing it was cichlids picking at it and quickly lost the fish. Catfish was a Platysilurus mucosus.

Another oscar, some clown loaches, Raphael catfish. Which I think the loaches might have been to blame because they passed before the Oscar showed symptoms.

Have you noticed any aggression between the 2 oscars? What size tank?
