Alright my Zaliosus has pop eye. He wacked his head on the heater 1 day and a half ago and now his eye is bulging ( popeye) and there are two little white things coming out from behind his eye. How do I cure him? He only has one eye so I don't think it is a fungal infection.

ok if its fungal u have to go to the fishshop and buy anti fungus medication...other than that just go through the usual routine....raise the temperature of water, add salt and hope for the best! salt and warmish water usually cure everything
warm water and salt should still help. trauma-related injuries just have to heal by themselves. keep the water as clean as possible to prevent any opportunistic infections from taking advantage of the situation. if he keeps messing around with the heater is it possible to move it to a different part of the tank?
